Create unique Expiring Links ⏱️ to selectively share a private markup:
Start by setting the permission to Private then clicking the Share button
Create up to 10 unique links with different expiration days/times
When someone views your expiring link, you will be notified
When a link expires, the link reverts to private and is no longer visible
Start with a Blank Canvas 🎨 if you just want to start a simple markup for notes. From markuphero.com/new select the color and then click Blank Canvas. You can also add Blank Pages to markups as well.
Option to add colored Borders to Inserted Images 🖼️. When an inserted image is selected you can toggle the border on and off, change the color, and change the thickness.

We’ve released a host of important updates to Markup Hero in the past 24 hours:
Team Members ⚽ - Now you can add and manage team members from your own account. This feature includes centralized billing and basic permissioning. Add your first team member on us using the code 1MONTHFREE if you are on a monthly plan or 3MONTHFREE if you are on an annual plan.
Invoices 🧾 - You can now download your invoices from your account and keep your accounting team happy. Visit Account > View Invoices to browse and download.
Collab 👯 - Bug Fixes - Allow others to collaborate on markups with you with our new Collab feature. This allows any Hero or Superhero user to add annotations to your markup if you share the link with them. Their annotations will have their own unique layer. Each markup allows for up to 20 collaborators. As the owner of the markup you can always remove any collaborators. By default only your annotations show to a viewer. Multiselect 🔍 - Now you can select and edit multiple annotation objects at once using Multiselect! Drag and select multiple objects then bulk edit position, rotation, color, font size and line thickness all at once. You can even cut ctrl x, copy ctrl c, and paste ctrl v with the Multiselect tool.

Zoom 🔍 - Now you can ZOOM! This was a big one for us. Use cmd + or ctrl + to zoom in and cmd - or ctrl - to zoom out on any markup. You can also Fit to width, Fit to height, or show the markup as Actual size.Zoom

Combine & Duplicate Markups ➕ - Now you can paste a Markup Hero Share Link into the URL input on markuphero.com/new to duplicate it OR paste it into the URL input on Add Pages to add that markup to another markup as a new page(s).
Draw Straight Lines w/ the Pen & Highlighter 🖊️ - Hold SHIFT while while drawing with the Pen or Highlighter tool to make a straight line.

Copy / Paste Improvements - Pasting an annotation object onto a new page or markup now places it in the center part of your screen for easy access to reposition.

Reorder Pages - Drag pages on the right hand nav to reorder pages within you markup.
Add Links - Add URLs to any text box. Then long press or right click on the text box to open the URL(s) in a new tab. Any viewer of the markup can click on the text box and either open the URL(s) in a new tab or even copy all the text to your clipboard. add-link-textbox.png265.81 KB
Copy Text - Anyone can now simply copy text from your text box annotations. As a markup owner long press or right click on the text box to open the context menu. As a markup viewer simply click on the text box to open the context menu and select Copy Text.
Cut, Copy & Paste Annotation Objects - Now any annotation object can be cut, copied and pasted easily across markups. Just select the annotation object and use cmd X, cmd C, and cmd V.
Drag & Drop to Insert Image - Drag and drop any image (JPG, PNG, SVG etc) from your finder into your markup page to insert images.

We just released some useful updates to Markup Hero we wanted to let you know about:
Add Signatures 🖊️ - Easily add signatures to your markups. Simple click our 'Add Signature' button, type your name and select your signature. Voila! You've just signed your first markup and it's ready to export. add-signature.gif1.42 MB
PDF Improvements 📄 - We've made real improvements to our PDF uploader — both to the processing speed and quality of renders. Try it out by uploading a PDF!
Object Order 🍰 - Change the layer order of any annotation object you add to a markup with our new context menu! Right click (touch devices: long press) on any annotation object and select Send to back or Send to front to change the layer order of that object. context-menu.gif3.41 MB
Object Nudge ↕️ - You can now nudge / move objects up, down, left and right by 1px when selected using your arrow keys to get them to just the right place and make your annotations look pro! Hold shift + up, down, left or right to move objects by 5px.
Insert SVGs 🖼️ , copy annotation text & cursor improvements
Happy Friday annotation heroes and superheroes! Today we released some new features and improvements to Markup Hero.
Insert SVGs 🖼️ - You can now insert SVG graphics along with PNGs and JPGs into your markups using the insert image feature!insert-image.gif3.25 MB
Copy annotation text ⌨️ - When selecting text annotations you've added to a markup you can now copy the text using CTRL C on Windows and CMD C on Mac.
Cursor improvements ↔️ - When editing a text annotation you can use your keyboard left, right, up, and down arrows to move within a text box without triggering a move to the next / previous page in a markup.
We have also updated the Chrome Extension shortcuts to improve conflicts with other tools and apps as well as added a quick `Screenshot Tab` feature with improved image quality. Get started by installing the extension today!
We've updated tags to now be collections. As a Superhero, you can now add and sort your markups into collections from your history. Begin by dragging the markup thumbnail image to start organizing!
In the future we plan on making shared collections as well.
Many of you have asked about this feature, and it's finally here. Superhero's can now blur markups to obfuscate sensitive information. We even flatten the blur into the markup file so it's secure and can't be edited. Upload something and try it out.
We've released the first version of our Chrome extension so that you can take screenshots straight from your browser and on Chrome OS. Install the Markup Hero extension for free from the Chrome Web Store.
We've added a support for editing markups on mobile and tablet! Happy annotating.

Superhero accounts can now add tags to organize their markups as well as star important markups for quick access in history. Upgrade here to try it out!
Every markup now has link share permissions which determine whether a link can be viewed by others. By default, link share permissions are set to public. Private link settings are only available for Superhero accounts. Read more here.

You can now insert images into your markups! On any screenshot, multipage image upload, or PDF you can insert images by clicking the Insert Image button or pasting an image from you clipboard using CTRL V / ⌘V.
Markup Hero now supports PDFs and multipage markups. Upload PDFs to annotate, and upload multiple images at once to create a multipage markup. Try it out here.
Markup Hero released an official Slack app allowing you to annotate images directly from Slack with a click. Learn more about the Markup Hero Slack app and its easy installation here.
Users can now delete markups they own or created. To delete a markup open the hamburger menu > click on the 3 dots to the right of any of your markups in the My Markups history tab > select Delete markup.
